Our Mission

The Taos Coalition to End Homelessness (TCEH) are the owners and operators of the Taos Men's Shelter. We offer low-barrier access to overnight shelter, food, laundry, showers, peer support and case management 365 days a year for the homeless men of Taos County. Our trained staff support our guests in coordination and cooperation with local service providers, charitable foundations, town, county, and community members.

About

By following our mission, the Taos Men's Shelter provides important community services. We are a placement resource for the police department, churches, mental health agencies, and families who encounter men who have nowhere else to go.

Our shelter is a humane and effective solution. In 2018, roughly 30% of our clients in case management re-stabilized and rehoused. In addition to these success, our services save public funding by avoiding the expense of incarceration and/or emergency room care for those who are left to fend for themselves on the street.
